France yields famed Jefferson bust [manuscript], undated.

In the Sunday supplement to an unidentified newspaper, author "Jay-Bee" describes the Boston Museum of Fine Arts's acquisition of Jean-Antoine Houdon's bust of Thomas Jefferson from the heirs of the Marquis de Lafayette's daughter. The supplement also contains another Jefferson article "Jefferson, master of detail, writes quaint itinerary of route to 'Roanoke' for travelling friend."
